Ursuline Class of '70 to honor Donna "G"

Our late classmate, Donna Giambattista Detwiler, founded Yellow Brick Place, a cancer support center dedicated to helping patients and their families navigate the emotional and physical challenges of the disease.

The Yellow Brick Place 10th Annual Golf Outing will take place on Friday, July 10, at the Avalon Golf and Country Club at Squaw Creek. CLASS PICNIC 

We are having our class picnic on Thursday, August 20, 2026 at Greasel Park in Canfield from 4:00 to 9:00.

Our previous picnics in 2023 and 2024 drew over 50 people and we hope you will join us to make this anotherfun day with old friends. 

We will provide catered food, water, a covered pavilion and great friends for a nominal price of $20.00 per person.  We will send out information in May to reserve your spot and send your contribution. 

You are asked to bring your own drinks and a smile.

The Ursuline Annual Appeal fundraiser is in full swing.  Each year the Annual Appeal drive tries to get 1,000 alumni to donate with a goal of raising 200,000.00.  Last year they had 952 Alum donate $229,147.33.

Our class had 29 classmates donate $4,286.00.  That tied us at 8th place for the number of classmates donating.  We were 14th in money donated.   The class of 1965 was #1 with  51 classmates donating $8,225.00. 27 members of the class of '71 donated the most money with $12,126.00.
